North Northumberland is a paradise for cycling enthusiasts, with the National Coast and Castle Cycle route passing through the area, there are many routes for you to dip in and out of. Whilst following the routes you will find yourself passing through picturesque villages along the heritage coast. There are routes for all levels of cyclist. For those who like a challenge, the open terrain of the National Park, Craster and Alnwick is for you.  And for the not so challenging you can stick to the flat land along the coastal routes. 

Coast & Castle Cycle Route

We are working on short cycle routes that you can take from the cottages. We hope to have the route planners and maps available from summer 2006.
