Tides prevaying you could make the trip to the histric holy Island of Lindisfarne and explore the fortress of Lindisfarne castle, stroll along the beach to the working harbour and then onto the islands priory. For afters you could end your day at one of the local tradition watering holes such as The Ship Inn.
